Meet the Team
Business Office Manager
Jason Konrad serves as our business office manager, with his primary role to oversee the accounting, human resources, payroll and administrative functions for the community. He comes to Savanna House with almost 20 years of work experience spread across the fields of information technology, accounting and finance, internal audit, budget, and office management.
Jason and his wife, Nicole, have two young children, Cooper and Lyla. In their spare time, they enjoy relaxing backyard in the pool and doing anything related to sports. Jason is a huge Buffalo Bills fan.
Director of Culinary Services
Wallis Berry serves as our director of Culinary Services. Wallis’ duties include supervising and coordinating all aspects of our Elevate Dining program. Wallis has been in the food and beverage industry for 22 years and has worked in corporate dining, universities, private clubs, country clubs, restaurants and senior centers. Wallis’ specialties are Italian and Chinese cuisines, as well as her salmon cheeseball – which was one of the first things she learned how to make from her mom.
Wallis truly enjoys getting to know the Savanna House residents and their families and strives to create unique and flavorful dishes for everyone that dines in our community.
Wallis is a wine enthusiast and sports fanatic. Wallis was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., and moved to Chandler in 2008 with her two daughters, Jala and Kaela.
Director of Health Services
Michelle Nasseef serves as our director of Health Services. In this role, Michelle develops and oversees individualized care plans for each of our residents, as well as overseeing all caregiving and nursing staff. Michelle has been a nurse for four years, and holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and human behavior.
When she is not working, Michelle is spending time with her husband of 10 years, Andy, and their two young daughters exploring the beautiful Arizona outdoors.
Director of Life Enrichment
Kayla Hunt serves as our director of Life Enrichment and comes to us from a community in Scottsdale. Her passion for her job comes from her genuine drive to make people happy. She loves to put smiles on anyone’s face, and truly loves her residents. She enjoys being able to provide enriching programs specific to her residents' needs so that they live a long & full lives.
When she is not at the community, Kayla enjoys traveling and spending time with family, friends and her husband, Erik. Kayla is a huge New York Giants fan.
Kearie Carrigan has over 10 years of health care experience – all ranging from starting out as a caregiver in high school to becoming the nurse she is today. As a nurse, Kearie has worked in a critical care facility acquiring some amazing skills, such as critical thinking, how to thrive under pressure and the ability to pay attention to detail. Kearie later transitioned to an assisted living community and fell in love with the memory care neighborhood. So much so that, when the opportunity came to manage the neighborhood, she quickly jumped into it. Kearie is both skillful and resourceful when providing care to our dementia and Alzheimer’s community.
When Kearie is not at work, you can find her at home spending time with her fiancé and two children, Serenity and Abram. Kearie finds fulfillment in everything music. She loves to dance and sing as well as perform like nobody’s watching. Kearie values the words that were spoken by Maya Angelou, “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
